No Duncan, I am not him ! I just played along after you accused me of being him when I quoted the muppet in one of my posts. And that is a FACT ! I was actually born in Brazil but have relatives that live in Norfolk ( Fakenham). Now living in Central France.
You could have kept me on the hook for ages I honestly believed you were him Next you'll be saying Santa isn't real
Watford rumoured to be sacking their manager imminently. And guess who we play Boxing Day... Honestly, solidly in the play-offs and 4 points off the autos. Rebuilding a relegated side is frequently a horror show, with teams languishing mid-table or lower. Seems like a mad decision.
So the colour similarity between the Brazil and Canary strips was only coincidental in you being a City supporter Mike.
I am sure the colour similarity was a contributing factor. Lived in Brazil until I was 18 and used to visit my relatives in Norfolk every 2 years. I am sure my relatives in Fakenham helped to convince me that I should support Norwich. Lived in Wiltshire for many years and saw Norwich play against the likes of Bristol City , Swindon , Southampton and even Exeter during the dark days of division 1 . Was at Exeter for Grant Holt's 2nd game for us, wearing my Brazilian top....unfortunately it didn't bring any luck as we only drew 1x1 !
I am living in Central France and have been here since 2017. One of the more sparsely populated areas of France and not surprisingly , very rural. About 1 hour away from the larger town of Limoges, Poitiers and Chateauroux.
Vladimir Ivic beat DF to the November Championship Manager of the Month Award -- only to be sacked three weeks later! The EDP mentioned that he benched Deeney at Huddersfield for "unexplained disciplinary reasons". The fact that they then lost through two uncharacteristic errors by Foster and Capoue suggests all was far from well in the Watford dressing room.
Watford's chairman has come out and said they fully side with Deeney, with regards to the "disciplinary issues". Amazed that they felt they needed to publicly back player over manager.
That is crazy. And so was sacking Pearson with 2 games left of last season and 3 points above relegation, only for the new manager to lose both remaining games , thus ensuring relegation. 5 managers in just over 12 months is some record !
Bournemouth - Millwall on Boxing Day is off due to COVID at Millwall. So we have a chance to temporarily go 7 points clear.
We can't go 7 clear of Bournemouth, but how far clear we can go is dependent on the teams immediately below them. Win and we are sure to be at least 7 points clear of Swansea, Brentford and Bournemouth 8 points and Watford 9 points. A very healthy position to be in. And this is not a stat but a FACT.
