A replacement for Honeyman is an absolute must. Incredibly missed when not playing. Usually up top on the MOTM thread tells it’s own tale. I think the lad must have been carrying an injury in the match he was poor. Likewise the addition of a forward in the mould of Campbell or Fryatt would be top of my January wish list. The point made about the number of crosses does equate to the number of times the ball is in the opposition box. With that in mind the crosses are so **** that they are easily dealt with or our two inter changeable centre forwards are that poor they can’t get a head on the ball. If they can’t do that then they need to put in a challenge that would mean the ball comes free. Enter Mr Fryatt or similar stage left.
So now down to 3rd, with Doncaster & Charlton having a game in hand & Accrington with 2 in hand over us, so after Boxing Day, we could be out of thdd ex play offs completely. Still there’s no way we’ll end up in a relegation fight, 100%!
There could be a celestial collision between the Moon & Earth tomorrow. That'd put us in League 2 if the fallout was close to Hull.
If city deliver another dire performance against Lincoln then if the coaching squad are in still in place we will know the owners are not interested in a promotion push but happy to stay in this or a lower league
300/1 relegation odds, I know odds are based on bookies, but we’re not going to get relegated from this league. We might drop down the league, but relegation isn’t happening. I think I predicted 17th or lower pre season, but now after our start & recent run, I’ve raised it to mid table, 12th ish!
8th on New Year's Day, level on points with the playoffs. Never forget that, and how the same man is still in charge now.
If we do, then frankly there's no excuse.. All clubs will hit a barren patch in a season. So I'm not panicking yet like many bed wetting ****s. We have just about the best squad in a poor league and anything other than promotion is failure. **** it up then there's no hiding place but for now I'll hold my emotional incontinence together. Thanks.
