There are quite a few mate in reality even players like Malik Wilkes and there are players in the first team of Bradford, Blackpool, 3 at Barnsley, Doncaster, 2 more with Wilks at Hull and a few more. However they all came from our academy when it was under previous ownership. So we didnt get the best kids like we once did. But even then some gems were thrown up like Howson, Delph and more who were quickly sold by Bates, Cellinoand GFH. Remember Bates was charging parents to have their kid in our academy. As I said earlier, if we are relegated most of next seasons first team will be Bogutsz, Gotts Shacks, McCalmont, Stevens, Edmondson, Hosannah, Kenneh, Gelhardt, Dramah, Casey, Cresswell, Huggins etc but if we stay up a lot of those out on loan now will be sold. Remember also there is Rafa Mujica and Kun over in Spain too
Bogusz is on loan at Spanish 2nd division side Logroñés (9 appearances 1 goal) which isn’t too shabby a standard. He’s still only 19 so let’s not write him off just yet.
Edmonson is impressing at Aberdeen. He got a chance due to injuries early on in the season and his manager said he was fantastic. They now have the main striker back from injury and Edmonson is used from the bench now but is coming on and having a good impact. He has scored 2 goals in 10 appearances so far but his strength and work ethic and team play are reportedly superb and he is seen as a very important part of the squad. Even if we don't want him, this spell should see his value go up towards 7 figure sum.
The Palace result is great for us as that leaves them 1 point ahead of us and a win tomoz takes us into the top 10. But even if we lose we can overhaul them and put them into the Brighton, Burnley category which will be just outside the bottom 3. After we overtake Palace the next one has to be West Ham
Everton have won 3 and drawn 1 since playing us, so don't think their dip in form had anything to do with our energy levels. They had lost the last 3 games before playing us. Arsenal's form has been up and down both before and after playing us, so don't think we can take any credit for that either
Great result again for us as Arsenal get beat, but the big question is this: when will football clubs learn that bringing back dead has been managers doesnt work. Pulis is back, Big Sams back, Houghton’s back, Warnocks back too, so who will Arsenal bring back
Works out how long you will have to wait for corona virus vaccine https://www.omnicalculator.com/health/vaccine-queue-uk
1m a week optimistic I would assume? Wonder how long the vaccines are "effective" for? By time I get towards the front of the queue the vulnerable may be pushing back in again!
I trust the science. Being 40 and a marathon runner, non drinker, non smoker, not overweight, very good diet, I just think others should get it before me. Vaccine will be safe. I'm gonna see what happens to all you old codgers before I have it.
Watford have sacked their manager Ivic after just 5 months and even though they are only a couple of points off auto promotion places. This means Watford have had 5 managers in just over a year. Cellino was a fruit loop but maybe not as bad as the Pozzo family. Troy Deeney was dropped so manager gets sacked..... Madness
It all assumes they have stock though. If the Oxford vaccine doesn’t get the green light then I can’t see anyone getting a vaccine anytime soon also in regards to the Oxford one... If it comes back with a 65% success rate would you want to use up your early place in the queue having a vaccine with a 35% chance of not covering you and then 30 days later another hits the market with say a 98% success rate? Early isn’t always best, I’ll be offered one once the pharmacist are given them the go ahead to give them but I’ll probably wait longer if it’s not got a great success percentage. By March we’ll probably have around 5 different ones on the market. You won’t get a choice they’ll just work through us all... Oh another thing, make sure your doctor has a mobile phone number on record. The Pfizer vaccine has to be dished out to everyone in a few hours. Each doctors surgery had around 975 doses for the over 80s. Due to the speed it has to be used up once received and opened preference went to the over 80s with a mobile number. Those who could accept the appointment time and slot immediately. Anyone who would have required a letter asking them to call the surgery were overlooked this time. Those who received it were sent an sms message, that’s how it worked here so I’m assuming it’s the same all over. I’ve been delivering to over 80s with underlying conditions like diabetes and asthma and they missed out on this first batch, none had mobile phones.
My poor 91 year old Nan doesn't have a mobile so has not received it yet. Mind you I suppose she has survived for 10 months and only hid away for 2 and a bit months when the country was in full panic mode.
