Isn't it wonderful. Despite all the challenges and false starts, we're number one. As caution though, we've been top at Christmas quite a number of times. With Rafa, with Brodgers, twice with Klopp. Yet only one title in last few decades. (So far) I'm excited to be top, things beginning to gel a little and just had a good result... I'd be happier to be top at Easter than top at Xmas though. Xmas is a long way to go still.
Nice to be top but it's still tight enough up there for me to not get carried away just yet. Hopefully the players coming back can stay fit and make a contribution in the 2nd half of the season and the ones who are fit stay that way too. If that stays reasonably true then we'll pull away eventually. Have a happy Xmas everyone
Many people wrote us off when Virgil van Dijk was injured. We have been able survive better than I thought. I hope Thiago will come back soon and that we do not have fresh injuries.
I'm just glad that we finally bucked that annoying stat of being the only team to never win the league after being top at christmas. As others have said there's a long way to go yet and we have no idea how the injury situation is gonna pan out, but I'm still confident that we can overcome any obstacles to win the league this season.

The only good thing about Hamilton is he is erasing all Schumacher's records. Once he has em all he can bugger off too! I dislike Schumacher more.
