Best so far - Walcott, Vestergaard and Walker-Peters. Weak links - Djenepo (not creating or finding space yet), Bertrand (pushing too high and leaving us wide open to counter attack on the left which was the start of their goal as well). The Ings situation is a blow, but luckily we are scoring from other areas now. I didn’t feel he was back at 100% yet from his previous injury either. Mike Dean seems card happy with us but Cancelo gets away with repeatedly fouling Walcott when he gets past him? Cant expect anything from City, but we are playing well so far.
Apart from not booking Cancelo I don’t think Dean has done too much wrong. Walcott is a complete pussy, don’t think he’s been fouled much. The pen was a 50/50 (even if I think VAR should’ve given it), so don’t really blame him for not giving it
Yeah, I'm not entirely sure why everyone is angry. Not many referees would give a pen for that and yes Cancelo should have been booked but he's not having a mare.
I’d like to see KWP either keep running at the defenders into the box, or cut in and just swing his left foot. Might go out the ground, might deflect off someone and fly in.
Need Armstrong or Redmond on that LW now thinks. (or Armstrong on RW and Walcott switch to LW - I’m getting muddled).
