Theyve deserved the win. Far better than us but they are hopeless in the air. Moore playing would have given them a big problem.
Tried to let them run past him unchallenged you mean. Then Ralls took over from him "That was late Pack." "I got there as soon as I could."
When are we going to realise that this type of football (having none of the ball and only creating from set pieces) isn’t sustainable? Norwich looked streets ahead of us and all of their chances came from open play.
How many times do we have to say it,our midfield are a joke, and our defence why do they make the same mistakes of standing off attackers, harris must be pulling out his hair if he has any left.My prediction was correct 5 points but we should have lost by at least 5 or 6 just saying.
Technically better footballers. Saying that we never tested their defence in open play. We gifted them 2 goals by letting them run through gaps and no one tackling. AGAIN. 4 times in 3 games. Missed Moore to hold it up. Another day Morrison is scoring at least one but on another day Pukki gets a hat trick. Well beaten. It’ll be more of the same at Brentford.
Statistics would read that a couple of hours ago, we were on 5 wins in the last six games. Now it is two defeats in three games and nearly a three game run of defeats! Average Championship side we be! Manager for sale....losing streak forces sale!
Well I thought he was half asleep Hilts so we’ll have to disagree. The one shot he had went miles over and the rest of the time he was just not interested. Harris should start next game.
Norwich have better players than us. Q. How many of our players get in their team? A. Mmmm... Morrison and Wilson at a push. Norwich have a proper footballing manager. City don’t. It’s not difficult to see the reasons why they’ll be promoted and we’ll end up 6-12th.
Two 2-0 defeats against decent sides, abysmal performances in front of the cameras......no going to frighten many sides! Body for hire!
As much as anything else, the lack of class in the middle of the park is costing us - that could easily have been nearer double figures than just two. Pack had a mare and Vaulks just tried to destroy and created nothing. The misplaced, underhit and ill-timed passes are going to cost us - FFS this is basic stuff we're talking about. Echoing what's been said above, Ralls is no No. 10 and Glatzel could have run all afternoon and not been played in. We tried to play as though Moore was still up there instead of him, and it was never going to work. Harris should have been on 20 minutes earlier and why only 2 substitutes used again when you have the option of 5 and a chance to rest some obvioulsy weary legs? Wilson is showing signs of frustration but was aslo guilty of thinking he was playing with better players than we've got. The "foot on the ball" control and vision is sorely missing. We'll probably win more than we lose when playing teams like Birmingham, but the class in that top 6 barring a fluke result is beyond us.
