London SE and East go to tier 4. Most shops shut, people to stay at home, and they can't leave. Meet 1 person, unless it's communal worship. No foreign travel. The rest of the country, stay local. Christmas cancelled. Tier 4 no mixing. Tier 3, up to 3 households on Christmas day only. So in summary, they need to clamp down on London, and daren't do it without dragging us in too, even though our levels are dropping. All in all, it doesn't make much difference, and if it means they're happier in January, we should be rid of their conditions soon enough.
