Well I’m pretty much nailed on for the managers job. As long as kempton holds to his word and buys the club.
Do you remember the calls and celebrations when Terry Dol*n was finally sacked ? Back to back relegations and rewarded with an extended contract ? Then we got Mark Hateley.
Fair questions and fair comments. But I'd honestly prefer to take our chances. Are you really saying McCann should not have been replaced before we got relegated, before the start of this season, now? Really? Are you really saying we shouldn't wish for new owners? Yes, we should support the team blah blah, but we need rid, simple as.
Keep taking the tablets..... if you recall you 'boldly' stated weren't playing below average football with a well below average manager... we all know the bigger problem, but the problem in the here and now is right in front of us all...
I have no idea who is, isn't, might be interested in buying out the Allams. if the twats were serious about selling. I'd happily have taken the chance with Peter Grieve. In terms of manager, with new owners I'd have Adkins back in heartbeat. With a decent crack at it with new owners, I believe he could have built something pretty special, on and off the pitch, top to bottom throughout 'our' club. In terms of manager, without new owners, I just want someone who isn't McCann. He's naive, incompetent, stubborn, near useless. Paul Cook wasn't a bad shout. We've seen plenty of managers outthink McCann; pretty much any off them would be preferable (other than Barton who is a despicable character). Why are you and some others seemingly supporting Allam and McCann and being so argumentative?
So you offer two people for the roles, neither of which are feasible. I'm sure quite a few people can see the point I'm making, and it's sod all to do with me being argumentative, or defending the current owners or manager.
Frying pan to fire? As said, I'd happily take my chances. Simple as. The club will remain toxic whilst ever the twats own it, and McCann is simply a crap manager / coach. If you're not supporting both, then same question back to you. Who?
Looking forward to seeing the first woman manager for a League team. after all we have televised women's football, female pundits. Why can't they manage a club? So many pushing this women in football agenda, curiously there is 100% male management of the 92 clubs, not the 50% female ratio some people might expect to see. Unless of course they're just guilty of talking up an idea to make themselves look 'woke' and have no real belief in it or intention of applying to their own club ? Carrying on lecturing the rest of us though by all means
You're the one demanding things change, yet you have absolutely no idea who you think could do a job, never mind if they are available or willing, so you're not in a position to demand anything from me. My position is quite simple, I'll change the things I can change, and I have to accept the things I can't, and find a way of living with it.
Hang on. I never 'demanded' change. Don't put words or inferences into my mouth thanks. I want / wish to see change. I want to see it so that our club can be the best it can be. McCann is plainly not a very good manager / coach. The Allams are quite simply toxic twats. We all have to accept the things we can't change and find a way of living with it .... and for some of us that might be helped by venting our frustrations and thoughts on a Hull City message board.
Given that you wrongly accused me of defending the others, you may want to re-read your posts to see why I read yours as being demanding. Sometimes, we don't appreciate how our views are interpreted.
Watched the game for the first time in full this morning. Thought we looked nervous and slow as **** to be honest especially first half. On the odd occasion we got in behind them we didn't have any quality to make it count but more worryingly our attacking play never really got going until young KLP started showing some of the older lot how it’s done. Both goals came about because we still don’t posses a good defensive game and when the opposing take advantage we don’t always have the answers. Overall the best team won on the night but without taking anything away from the opposition that’s not saying much these past few weeks now. Hopefully the cynics, whispers and statements about apparent contractual issues doesn’t turn a great start into anything McCann cannot sort out before the inevitable Deja Vu sets in too deeply. UTT.
"Why are you and some others seemingly supporting Allam and McCann and being so argumentative?" Is that really an accusation?!! OK, whatever. I'm .... errr.... going for a walk.
