Obviously disappointed in fact watching i was lived, however life's to short I've calmed down having a few beers. Regarding the game thought they had more about them going forward first half, second we were better but they dropped off a bit, we were unlucky not to score but at the end of the days goals count. Fortunately we are still in a decent position although with the last three results a big opportunity missed. One thing tonight highlighted is that we deffinatly need a couple of players (not squad players) but experienced ones that are going to come into the team and make a difference. Also the harmony in the squad needs to be restored starting with the KLP situation being sorted. I read earlier in the week some of the senior players in the squad had sympathy for klp not a good sign for team morale. Probably start 2021 in a play off position for me bring in a couple of the right players, improve the atmosphere and we still have a very decent chance but has things stand I'm not so sure.

That would appear to be your own conclusion whether you are buying it or not.
Still, I am not after an argument. Have a good night.

    Deluded ****

    ____________

McCann, who said that there are no updates regarding the contractual situation with Keane Lewis-Potter, commented: "It is a blip. We have started the season really well and are in second position in the league.

"We are obviously frustrated to lose the past three games and people will be concerned because of how well we have started and when you lose three in a row, there will be questions asked, of course. I completely understand that.

"There is areas of our game which are good and areas where we need to improve. Nothing is won and lost at this time of year, let's see where we are at the end of the season."

On his side's performance, McCann - who said that George Honeyman should return for their next game at home to Lincoln City in 11 days time - added: "As a team, who put in 25 crosses in the game, but just did not seem to get on the end of any. <laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh>

"Portsmouth are one of the defensively strongest teams in the league, but I thought we got into some really good areas and we ultimately did not make it count and it has cost us.<laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh>

"We are frustrated with the first goal and thought there was maybe a foul on Jacob Greaves. His eye is cut open (he's got a scratch below his eye <laugh><laugh>) and anywhere else on the pitch, he (referee Michael Salisbury) gives a free-kick. If a foot is in someone's head, it is a free-kick. That is just common sense.

"With the second goal, we did not defend it well enough and it ends up in our net by one of our players. It was disappointing.

"For us, we just did not seem to get on the end of anything.(thats because there was nothing to get on the end of you ****) It is an area of the pitch we need to get better from and learn from (as long as you are here that will never happen) We have time to now improve on that because from a performance level, we were good when we moved the ball quickly and got to the top end of the pitch and balls were coming on."(WTF does that mean)

Weak and spineless. Owes his job to Ehab. That is why he is never under any pressure to sort it out.

This just looks like the usual **** show that we have become. The KLP situation is disgusting and looks like it has made a telling contribution to the dressing room again. The real trouble with having such an uninspiring patsy manager is that he is so desperate to keep his job he won’t play his strongest side. You can’t just blame Ehab here McCann needs to grow a pair.

Totally agree. He has no clue at all. Two own goals and no shot on target at the other end in two games. Terry you and Ehab have made this club a laughing stock on national TV, and not only the club but yourselves. This game will go into legend for all the wrong reasons. Hardly going to do your manage trial career prospects any good Terry and Ehab lessens your chance of a sale at any price

Yes obviously FACT and not spin by the player's agents.

Mischievously or lazily reported by HDM, knowing it will stoke up ill-feeling and anger among supporters who will take it as unvarnished truth..,

    And that's just it!

Every ****er and his dog can see it. Week after week. And still it happens.

If McCann is or isn't telling them to do as you suggest (as we all do), then where's the Ashbee, the Gareth Roberts, the ****ing leader to drive the team on and follow up. (Hopefully no-one says Honeyman - he isn't the answer, although his efforts are admirable).

Think you’re being a tad kind Charon, It wasn’t that good!

We didn’t look to have any confidence from the off. No fight, no passion, no playmaker, no idea. When did we last dominate a game? I don’t mind losing, but least we expect is a bit of fight. Getting a lousy feeling of deja vu.

I didn’t see the warm up.....

    Merry Christmas to all.

Sorry, I wasn't pulling you up, it just amused me when you put 'goals count' when the goals we scored today didn't count for us. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Get someone like Billy Whitehurst or Dean Windass into coach the forwards you silly ****.

Portsmouths defence was bang average and weren't even tested. When the forwards did create opportunities they didn't have the guile (Windass) or the brawn (Whitehurst) to do owt about it.

    It's not ****ing difficult.

Look Im putting this here: it's a bizarre paradoxi that our No Surrender Sandy Row manager has a team that capitulates so easily.

Can't he instill that mentality in his players?

Er, I'll say Honeyman. He has been exceptional this season because always seemed to be in a position to pick up a ball from a midfield player or a striker, and play between the lines. But he was never going to play 46 games. Said about a month back that if he got injured we had no replacement, and so it looks. Believing that a lad from Sheff U reserves with barely a league game behind him was going to be adequate is delusional, but brought about because others like Samuelsen, Adelakun who McCann has said can play number 10 as well have been even more inadequate.

Currently I suspect he will have plenty of time to become an even bigger expert on League One.
