I never had the pleasure of meeting him, but by all accounts he was a very nice man. I also never knew that he played Edwin in Summer Holiday, with Sir Cliff.
Despite the rigorous process in place, to prevent racehorses from being given names that could be deemed offensive, a horse ran at Wolverhampton, a week ago, named Jungle Bunny. A junior doctor at my hospital decades ago (he’s probably a consultant now) was blessed with the name Dr Patient.
True story, I was good friends with Richard Head at school. He insisted we called him Richard. The funniest thing was his father was also called Richard (Would you name your kid after you if your name was Richard Head lol!), and he said that his family call him little Richard

On a side issue, I have never liked people giving their children the same first name (and the American habit of going 1,2,3 makes my skin crawl)....children are individual people, not extensions of their parents. It’s like taking their individuality away.
