    Spuds from yesterday.
Had one cold, cut up with just salt and pepper.
The other got the full works.
Half a tin of beans with maggis, Worcester sauce, hot sauce and two teaspoons of tartare sauce. Mixed in half a tin of tuna et voila...

Just been going through the freezer, turkey mince, use by October 2020. I am assuming it should still be fine to use now, anyone disagree ?

Just done google -fu on it. Says it should be fine to use way after the use by date. Will use it for meatballs or bolognese.

Freezer stuff I normally count the use by date, as up to one month after the use by date on the packet.

So if the date on the mince is the 30th Oct 2020, I would use it by the 30th Nov 2020. That's just a general rule of thumb that I apply. Anything over that I would refer to our good old friend google, as I know some products keep longer than others.

I'll test it on the wife first before I have mine, she's out at the minute and most likely blissfully unaware of the use by date.

I just googled it for you...

    about 3 to 4 months

Properly stored, it will maintain best quality for about 3 to 4 months, but will remain safe beyond that time. The freezer time shown is for best quality only - ground turkey that has been kept constantly frozen at 0°F will keep safe indefinitely.
