There is absolutely no evidence of this with KLP. His performances show commitment and he should always be in our first choice team.
Did I say there was ? Morley scored on the Saturday and was in the managers office on the Monday asking for a better contract. That was also all over the media and it didn't do the player or the club any favours. No-one knows the nitty gritty details of the KLP situation and, as I said when the news broke, it should not have been made common knowledge and kept within house. I hope KLP is in the starting line up tomorrow, but if he isn't there could be other factors besides this 'length of contract' spat that we don't know, or need to know about. Hope common sense prevails soon.
There is no evidence for the above whatsoever. Other senior players are reported to be annoyed at KLP's treatment. If those reports are true, would they feel that way if he was taking the **** in training? We've had far too many players (and managers, and other staff) find themselves in not-too-dissimilar positions over the past five or six (or more) years to that which KLP is in now. There has been one common denominator in all of that. None of us know the true situation, but given how frequently we find ourselves in this situation I think that maybe it's legitimate to ponder whether it's the common denominator that's the problem here.
If we were putting together a list of players likely to be taking the piss in training, I suspect Batty and Lewis-Potter would be at the bottom of that list.
KLP is 19 barely out of his school uniform and clearly being advised by his agent. Only a **** of a coach would try and hang him out to dry in public.
How much do you or any of us know about his agent? How much do you or any of us know who's hanging him out to dry? This is all speculation, the whole lot of it!!! None of us know nothing?
As I posted earlier this is the interesting bit and clearly the agent **** stirring. The agent wants a pay rise now and renegotiate another one at the end of the season. The club want a longer deal now. He doesn’t. there’s no doubt ehab is a **** and no doubt he plays hardball on contracts but let’s not think klp s agent is some lovely cuddly bloke who is been reasonable. He won’t be the first young player badly advised. “As it stands currently, Lewis-Potter is happy to sign fresh terms on the deal which runs to summer 2022 and renegotiate a longer-term deal at the end of the current season, but ultimately the youngster, who is not motivated by big money, wants to play football for his hometown club and play a part in their success.”
What do you know? Nothing like the rest of us. We speculate and chat its a football messageboard if you don't like it.....
You've just accused our coach of being a **** hanging someone out to dry? Then you say you know nothing?
The coach has picked a useless loanee ahead of a talented young player. Supporter speculation grew The useless one was then asked the question regarding the speculation. He answered by questioning KLPs commitment to the club. What more do I need to know to come up with a conclusion?
Something that we all need to know...The facts.I want the lad to play too,why wouldn't I? We know nothing of the discussions taking place between his agent and Allam. All of this has just further muddled opinion of the coach, the owners and the lad himself at a time when we could all do without it.You have taken this as a personal dig,it wasn't and isn't.
We all want the best for the club. I want the situation resolved as I personally think we are a better team with KLP starting (others will disagree) Big game today.
