he doesn’t loses cases mate. He’s the top of the food chain. The apex predator. The best of the best. Nothing else has happened so he has either wrapped up early cos he’s won. Or he’s working from home. If he’s working from home it will be because he doesn’t need the face to face time with the PL now cos they have caved in and he’s just exchanging legal letters/comms as part of the wrap up process as the PL passes the deal.
I know its just losing a 12 point league,, 2 fa cup finals, one semi, losing a 3 nil aggregate lead in Lisbon and being relegated twice among many reasons I will doubt until it happens
I just think that even if Ashley wins his case against the PL it will just be a compensation event. That’s what I am worried about.
It's not compensation. Nick De Marco is a sports law barrister. Shaheed Fatima specialises in public law and human rights. Any Ashley claim for compo would likely be restraint of trade and anti competition. You instruct a specialist in those areas alone if you want compensation. It's to force through the takeover.
Well let’s hope your right. I have not heard hardly any involvement of Fatima. The new PL deal with Bein worries me.
She will be focusing on the relationship between PIF and Saudi. Public law. Di Marco will be focusing on application of the ODT test. The deal is a red herring. There is a small matter of the Qatar-Saudi reconciliation. BEin, being a state affiliated broadcaster will be an important factor in that relationship.
