Takeover (Covid-19/20)

Makes no business sense and we now have a legal case which needs resolved. The PL may well drag that into next season and beyond (its very easy to do). Sadly the club is getting ****ed from every angle. I'm working on the basis that the PL probably don't want it rumbling along in the background too long. The fans think this case is clearcut, but legally speaking it will be far from the case.

We certainly need to break this chain of being under this regime. We will never progress under this owner. He's told us that in very clear terms.

 

If and if it goes to court then the premier league obviously feel they can win... They'll have a strong case, but I think it might just be they took the opportunity to delay for the longest time possible and created as many obstacles to make them just think **** it... This is why they'll be looking to delay until Feb now because nufc will be in the relegation battle by then and it'll potentially delay it until summer...

 

They normally make a decision within 2 weeks

 

We don't know when it starts or if it has though. It's all assumed because of de Marco saying he had a busy 3 weeks.

Seems to me we've got 3 grouos

1. it's definitely happening and any suggestion otherwise makes you're a negative arsehole
2. It's definitely not happening and everyone should move on, but clearly hasn't yet themselves .
3.(Me) it might be happening, but I'm not 100% and some days I'm more positive than others.

BEIN sport wanted the deal stopped for their product being stolen.

If you read his comment he's very deliberately made reference to that, so I think it's a little dig...

This deal demonstrates that rights-holders who do the most to protect their intellectual property also do the most to protect the value of their media rights
