So typically Spurs. With the flat track bully Kane who never scores when it really matters:emoticon-0138-think.

Difficult to take a late goal like that, but in the grand scheme of things it’s still not been a bad game week, by any means.

    Chelsea lost
    City drew
    Leicester lost
    And Arsenal remain in disarray.

We’ve got “Liverpool away” out of the way, and others haven’t capitalised.

    <ok>

Tactics didn’t cause the winning goal.

This is when parking the bus and defending all game is hard to take. Get the win or even a draw and all is good.

To concede a late goal from a set piece is on the players though. Should have been dealt with.

They were sh*t scared of the Poool getting Jose'd,

Must be so demoralising for these players.. to have to play in such a negative way and still get beat.
If they wanted to be bus parkers they would've joined London Transport.

Terrible. I didn't see a single period where Spurs were in control.

A deserved loss but we are still in it! Onwards and upwards.

Feel sorry for you guys; having to watch the crap Mourinho serves up, no one deserves that every week!

There's no way where our tactics tonight made sense

If the idea was to sit back and hit them on the counter, then the starting formation did a hell of a lot to make that a less likely proposition by playing Sissoko as a winger, and while we tweaked things in the second half we still lacked the personnel to make the killer ball
If the idea was to conserve energy with our bloated fixture list, then somebody needs it explained to them that aimlessly hoofing the ball into their half doesn't conserve energy as it tends to come back pretty damn quick
If the plan was to frustrate them for the entire game and nick something late, then the plan was out the window the second they went 1-0 up and further undone by our continued inability to defend set pieces

It's the last part that really takes the piss, because as I've been saying for a year the one thing you expect with the ubermensch is centre backs who you could shoot point blank with a cannon yet their gibbed remains will still somehow block the ball on the goal line when defending a 1-0 lead - yet if we're leading in the 85th minute, our defence always finds a way to make things either stressful or infuriating

I think the head injury did. Kane went missing at the back, which is very unusual for him.
Probably should've taken him off instead of Son, but that's easy to say with hindsight.

Bergwijn has 3 goals in 22 PL games. Since the start of last season, Dele has 8 in 28. Yet everyone wants Dele sold.

It’s not pretty but generally the results haven’t been bad. The Jose era won’t last long so I don’t mind seeing something different if it means Spurs win a trophy

I’ve said several times I don’t want him sold.

Lamela and Sissoko on the other hand

I truly can't stand the guy. You'll know when his times nearly up, he'll start throwing players under the bus!

Poch was a much better fit imo
