I knew you would be wondering about why Hispanic and Latinos was not in those numbers. Well, let’s see if I cn say something about that.
    Let's call it American logic:emoticon-0100-smile

The numbers I used are from 2019 and in 2019 the US classed the residents in the US in 5 races.

    · White American, European American or Middle Eastern American (People origin from Europe, the Middle East or North Africa) (60.1% of the population)

    · Black or African American (Native people origin from Sub-Saharan Africa and also Haitian, Jamaican and Barbadian) (13.5% of the population)

    · Native American or Alaskan Native (People origin from original people of South, Central and North America) (1.3% of the population)

    · Asian American (People origin from Far East, Southeast Asia and the Indian subcontinent) (5.9% of the population)

    · Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander (People origin from Polynesia, Melanesia or Micronesia) (0.2% of the population)

So, what about the Hispanic and Latinos then? Well they are not classed as a race but as an ethnic group and are treated separately. This group are divided into those 5 races “White Hispanic and Latinos”, “Black Hispanic and Latinos”, “Asian Hispanic and Latinos” etc. But if you say Hispanic and Latinos of all races they are 18.3% of the population. It is not only the biggest ethnic group but also the only ethnic group:emoticon-0148-yes:
It was thought that in 2020 The US Census would esatblish a new ethnic catagory for populations from the Middle East, North Africa and the Arab world. But that did not happen, it may happen in 2030.

So the data. Well, not all agencies provide ethnicity data. This means the total number for race and ethnicity will not be equal. But for those agencies that provided ethnicity breakdowns the numbers are representative and will look as follows (2017):

    Murder and nonnegligent manslaughter:
    Hispanic or Latino 20.8%
    Not Hispanic or Latino 79.2%

    Robbery
    Hispanic or Latino 21.3%
    Not Hispanic or Latino 78.7%

    Aggravated assault
    Hispanic or Latino 24.0%
    Not Hispanic or Latino 76.0%

    Weapons (carrying, possessing, etc.)
    Hispanic or Latino 22.8%
    Not Hispanic or Latino 77.2%

These percentages are about where you would expect them to be considering their percent of the population around 20%.

The business about fishing is small fry (!) when you look at the overall economy. What it represents to both sides in terms of prestige and as a demonstration of where power lies in a post brexit world is far greater than the sum of its parts.

The EU should just walk away from fishing as a serious impediment to a deal if it does not wish to create incalculable damage to far greater parts of its economy.
It is just political point scoring on an issue that represents little in terms of economic impact but has come to be a figurehead to those Britain's that voted to leave the EU, but they know that which is why they carry on.

    Childish.

A lot of people don't understand the fishing rules. They seem to think that if we control our waters we get to keep the fish. Unfortunately that is not the case. There are lots of foreign boats registered in the UK but they land their catches on the continent. We need to stop foreign boats registering in the UK otherwise control of our waters is useless.

Isn’t there a UK registered Dutch trawler that on its own catches a third of all fish caught in British waters and lands it in Holland?

    Absolutely crazy.

Trade deal with Mexico signed today, that’s the 58th Trade Deal secured in the last two years but the media won’t report it as it’s not negative enough...

The UK has now secured trade deals with 58 countries, accounting for £198bn worth of trade annually. This accounts for 96% of the value of trade with non-EU countries that we set out to secure agreements with at the start of the trade continuity programme.

It is good that these agreements are in place but the big one needs to be signed otherwise it could be a tricky period for the UK.

I still think it will be, Boris is playing hard ball with them and they’re used to Teresa May. Boris tells us to prepare for a no deal and talks aren’t going well. They come back and offer to extend the deadline talks and a couple of days later they’re trying to say things are improving. They want it more than we do.

Climate change denial? Wtf does that even mean?
I don't deny the climate is changing, it's always changing, that's what it does.
My problem is the categorisation of 'Catastrophic' man made climate change.
It's another hysterical bandwagon for the snowflake generation to jump on.
If you know the actual figures it's an easy solution, you just tell China and India that they're not allowed to industrialise.

It means people who deny the issue of climate change caused directly by man, seemingly given that post, you’re one of them.

You might be better served reading some actual scientific papers on the subject, as opposed to gaining your view from right wing nodders on the net, just a thought like,
