So how does the shape of the planet we live on make a difference to the exploitation of the masses? When the earth was said to be flat back in the day the masses were just as exploited?

The spherical earth myth was being touted by the ancient Greeks 600 years before the Romans took up the mantle of being a holy empire. The Greeks loved a good God. So much so they had dozens.

What's irrelevant is the shape of this planet we inhabit vis-a-vis who is in control. I'm just pointing out that your reasons for the fakery don't really make any sense. Why is very relevant when you are arguing against the accepted norm. You have to establish a believable explanation for why so many have went to so much trouble to spin a lie for so little gain.
