    Loved Blade..bought the set
The Matrix..bought the set, only enjoyed the first
Pirates of the Caribbean..first was great, the rest so, so.
    Bourne Identity, got the set
Loved, "Blood Diamonds", traumatised by it would not watch it again
    Mississippi Burning
    JFK
    The Untouchables
Sherlock Holmes with Robert Downey Jr
    Notting Hill..(Feel good factor)
    Downfall
    The Usual Suspects
    LA Confidential
    Chocolat

Hated..The Perfect Storm... No point to this (other than it makes you want to slash your wrists)

Have not seen Titanic..(like happy endings)
    Basic Instinct...too wood
Schindlers List, studied Schindlers Arc for A level.

:1980_boogie_down:We should do our own "Oscars" especially since it's an International weekend. No Black tie or Frocking up required, but we could do a poll.
Do a ist of categories etc. I always thought I hated westerns, but I loved, "The Quick and the Dead" Young Guns, we definitely need categories.

    YES!

On the topic of football films, has anyone seen Looking for Eric? Personally I really liked it, especially the scene at the end involving the Cantona masks <laugh>

Dead Man's Shoes, Jackie Brown, Red Dragon, Anchorman, The Godfather Trilogy, Back to the Future, Raging Bull, American History X, Blade Runner, Apocalypse Now, Black Hawk Down, The Crow, Rocky, Four Lions.

I could name a load more. Never understood the longevity of the Saw franchise, the first one was ok but the rest were so average, a lot of them bordering on total crap.

Used to go to the Cinema a lot but very rarely these days. Two films I liked were 'The Green Mile' and 'The Pianist' starring Adrien Brody. If you haven't seen 'The Pianist' I'd recommend that you try to see it.
