Its not nonsense at all it's the history of Hull City. We could lose 50% of the gate in one season. I've experienced it. If you don't believe me have a look in Chris Elton's Bible, it's all there in black and white.

.........and then the Allams shelled out £20 plus million to pay off the outstanding debts, in some cases staff and players wages. Then another £20m plus was invested, Steve Bruce went onto spend a further £80m......It's old news. The Allams also uncovered that the money Bartlett bought the club with in the first place was borrowed against the stadium, which he didn't own and they had to pay that loan back. Perhaps if The Athletic are struggling for subscribers they should dig a little deeper into that little deal ?

Hardly struggling, they've got over a million subscribers.

'Millions' ? That's about as believable as The Allams buying a Championship football club for £1, a debt free Championship football club.

Nobody has claimed they paid a quid for a debt free club, absolutely nobody.

The article gives that impression. Because without explaining that the club was on the verge of bankrupcy at the time, deep in debt, the 'The Allams got it for a quid' exclusive isn't worth reading.

Good, the PL gets ****ter every week and further away from what proper football is..

My hope is the top 6 **** off to Europe and the other 86 clubs get back to something like we had pre 1992.

Of course some on here won't know what that is as it was the BP era.

Football not polluted by torrents of money, cheating, political lobby groups, diving ****s, VAR, plastics, armchair managers, armchair fans and post ITALIA90 hipsters.

There's never been a better time not to be in the PL.
