It's all very close behind us, as well as above. A couple of losses could dramatically affect our league position, so we may have to hold our nerve sometimes. Luckily, Saints fans are very practised at this (except when we aren't and have the screaming heeby-jeebys).
We should have this. Well drilled, confident, and we are the new Saints! So easy to think we’ll blow it, but we are pretty good now
Yep, the form since the first lockdown ended is no fluke, it is over half a season now. PL 21, W 11, D 6, L 4, GF 40, GA 25, PTS 44. A win % of over 50, almost 2 goals a game scored only failing to score in a match twice. 3 of the 4 losses were against big 6 clubs and the other on the opening day (we never win them!). The football is exciting and attractive and goals are being shared around the team this season. Ralph has experimented (usually at the start or end of a season) and has come up with the formula thanks also to the board for their long term thinking. The home form is vastly improved and we can now break down teams that sit deep. We are still evolving and there are still some issues in trimming the playing staff which will be resolved in time but i'm not going to be waiting for it to all blow up, i'm just enjoying the good times and living for the moment! COYS!
This new Saints won't win every game left this season, but I bet we will win more than we'll lose. There will be ups and downs as it is so tight, but the future is really red and white.
The final frontier is getting consistant results against the big 6, we drew at Chelsea and were 2 goals up against Manure so I think it will come, hopefully starting tonight at The Emirates.

Of course Saints fans are known for their level headed logical assessment of adverse situations. I may need to stand corrected re that statement there are some who react with a less than positive mind set.
Connor seems to be posting lots of pictures of Gabriel Martinelli on the Arsenal Twitter feed. It also seems that a few Arsenal fans know he's a Saints supporter too!
