I certainly am against the EU taking money from the UK to give to businesses to encourage them to leave the UK.

 

The UK isn't the only country to contribute to the EU budget. Grants are offered to businesses to locate themselves in poorer countries to help level them up. It's not a conspiracy vs the UK, it happens to all countries across the EU. Businesses will move where they can maximise profits. That's capitalism for you.

 

Just check my list from the other day. Probably Sadiq Khan or Greta Thunberg

Whilst I agree with your general point on nationalism, this case is very different. The Scots, and now the Irish, are in danger of being treated as second class citizens bu their English masters. It's rather how the Slavic population of Poland were treated by the Third Reich. At the very least Scotland should be allowed another referendum as the previous one was predicated on the UK remaining in the EU. Scotland and Ireland should be allowed self determination. It's the sovereignty argument again. Sauce for the goose etc.

 

We must have a different sense of humour.

What’s your excuse?

 

If the state actively assists businesses to relocate to other countries to provide jobs and wealth to the new community at the detriment of the original community.

And the workers that get laid off have to fund their own downfall through tax donations that end up being siphoned to the EUROPEAN UNION then that doesn't sound like capitalism.


I'm sure there is a list of hundreds of examples of businesses based in other EUROPEAN UNION countries being outsources to the UK providing 1000s of jobs here to even things up .
At the end of the day the EUROPEAN UNION and Socialism have one main goal .
To make the common man from each State equal , equally poor .

They will never give the average Romanian the same wealth and lifestyle as a German but eventually wages and standard of living for the wealthier inhabitants can be lowered reducing the middle classes and handing the wealth to the richest in society.

 

Maybe they get amused at shifting the subject away from uncomfortable topics?

It certainly makes me smile when I see them doing it.

Over the last 4 years it seems like every joke writer has been coining it in with the orange man material.

The only solution now will be to have more bame comedian's and if they aren't funny blame the audience for not laughing because racism.

 

Most EUROPEAN UNION beurocrats probably get paid more than our prime minister position.

There are alot of pigs and alot of troughs in Brussels

 

As is the cost of the buildings and running them, never mind dragging them across Europe to appease key groups. I've not looked, but I wouldn't be surprised to see it all costs more than some Countries receive.
