We will just try and ruin the game and hope to pinch it at the end if still in it, but I think leeds are exactly what we can't handle...
It'll be that game where you can predict the final result in the first 10 minutes. Leeds have been really bad these past few weeks, they've got the odd surprise result (which is good for them as it likely means they'll stay up,) but their performances have not been what you'd expect.
This is exactly when Steve Mr Fluke Bruce delivers a result. So if general common sense tells you we are getting hammered, then expect a result. We rarely get hammered anyway mate. Tends to be the case when your gameplan is largely based on stopping the oppo. I think we've only conceded more than 2 once this season (Man U). It was same last year I think we only conceded more than 3 on a few occasions. It was largely when we are beaten before kick off against the likes of Man C, Man U, Arsenal and obviously Leicester pumped us too when we got a man sent off. Much like Rafa, Bruce is so negative that he doesn't really take massive beatings goals wise on a regular basis. His entire gameplan, again much like Rafa, is to keep the game really tight and try to nick the game. **** for the fans.
With regard to Rafa, from a friend, well someone who knows you, just let it go. He’s gone. Just let it go. You’ll be happier in the long term.
Leeds haven’t played anyone like us and as defensive as we are we like to hit this type of team on the counter. They won’t be able to be expansive and will choke with our formation. I can see it being a tight game. With a set piece goal to win it for either side. Leeds to dominate possession. Us to have the better clear cut chances.
For those who remember, has Bruce always managed like this? Like has this been how hes done it throughout his career? I don't remember if Sunderland played like this under Bruce I certainly never sat down and watched his Hull, or many of his other sides.
Evening pal, its been a while!!! The fans would have blown the ceiling off the place. Our match thread has just gone up. We'd love to hear from y'all!!!!!
Tony Ebola scored one of the best goals ever for Leeds, for that reason alone I'm predicting a disease ravaged 3-1 win to the black and white covids.
Thankfully we did let him go. As with other managers, players he will come up though. Just because a few facts hurt your hero worship sensibilities we can’t just erase him from history unfortunately. You’ll just have to stop being such a sensitive jessie.
