There would have been many a season we would have wanted city to win that. Look at us now, happy that city, our rivals, have slipped up.
Slaven Bilic set for the sack. Big Sam is who I expect to take over, but shortlist also comprised of Mark Hughes, Nigel Pearson and Eddie Howe.
Sacking Bilic for Hughes would make zero sense. Big Sam I kinda get. Wonder if the sacking will start a knock on effect.
Harsh on Bilic, good result tonight and only a couple of points off the pace. So Sam to do him twice!. Surely not Hughes or Pearson
I wonder when the last time it was that it took until the 13th game of the season for the first Premiership manager to be sacked. Must admit that I was not expecting Bilic to be the first and thought that either Parker or Wilder would have pipped him. It will be interesting to see how long Arteta lasts.
The BBC site says Hojberg is doing really well at spurs. He’s made 11 less tackles than Romeu (35-46) and is 5th in the PL (Romeu at no 1).
Just another example of a bigger club discovering an unknown talent. How do they do it? Such an impressive system they have.
Good example of why stats are useful but not all defining. I’d find it a struggle to tell anyone if Oriel or Pierre was having the better season so far. Both are doing an excellent job for their clubs.
Who did the Leicester guy pick this week? Assume you'll all be back in if he doesn't win either and if so can anybody join in
To add to that, they also said his arrival was very low-key. I recall, it was pretty much a drawn out saga in the press and online for weeks - albeit for a conspicious lack of transfer news early in the window.
West Brom due to Sack Bilic today - presumably they are not happy with his championship squad performing like... a championship squad.
An unexpected point for WBA, but how City didn’t score in the last 10 minutes is an absolute mystery. The quality of the crosses, during that spell, was master class. Hopefully their finishing will be as bad at the weekend.
