Surely the best way is to to keep a settled side and do most of the rotation though substitutions which is way we are allowed 5 substitutes
It was the sort of performance you’d expect from a team in the bottom half playing a too team with greater quality. Get outclassed for a half before coming back into the game after a quick half time chat plus some changes, Finally get a goal after some huffing and puffing before getting an iffy decision going against us . Not that satisfying but better then it could babe been at half time.
Why do we keep hearing from Ivic in post-match interviews that players are not following his instructions? Also, I think the fact we are third in the table, and our top scorer is joint fifteenth in the division’s list of top scorers, is pretty telling.
Raw now, but boy he’s gonna be worth a few quid. How many teams in the bottom six of the Prem would want him right now, and how much could he be worth to them if he kept them up? He’s definitely well above the Championship in terms of his quality, I reckon.
I think this game shows some of my frustration with Watford at the moment. We're getting decent results without playing well, and it feels like sooner or later our luck will run out and we'll get an absolute thumping from someone. That could have been Brentford today if they'd seen through their first half advantage. On this performance, we can see there are a number of teams operating at a higher level than us (Brentford, Bournemouth, Norwich) and we won't be competing for automatic promotion if things carry on like this.
Arsenal should offer their entire strike force as a straight swap for him but Brentford would probably get a large amount of cash as well
Vlad was complaining about how Frank had spent the whole match chewing gum with his mouth open. It followed a pre-match ‘elbows on table’ contretemps. This is professional sport and things like that are bound to make people tetchy.
