As mentioned earlier I don't like that the weather can influence a result. Spend 4 days putting everything into it n then it's for nothing cos you live in ****ing England.
Don’t think your 25st Northerners comment went unnoticed either. I’m going in hard if you get done by the Saints tomorrow.
Was an 80's Darts themed game show where fat Northerners would gamble the £50 and a teasmaid they'd won on the chance to win Bully's special prize. Which was either a new car if they lost, or a ****ty sofa if they won.
Edgbaston best Test venue mate. By a fair stretch. Followed by Trent Bridge, The Oval, then Old Trafford. Only been to Lords once and it was great place to watch and has a really different atmosphere but it's not as buzzing as the others. Not a fan of Headingly. Sofia Gardens is ok too, but a bit small.
I don't mind that so much because those 4 days could've had some great battles and been entertaining to watch. The matches that I always found utter **** were the ones which dragged on for 5 days and end in a draw cos ****s can't take the wickets or runs to win. Some of the grounds were notorious for this. I'd just add that what makes Test cricket different is it's played as internationals which is part of the attraction.
Yeah it was ****. Strangely compelling as an 8 year old round yer Nan and Grandads on a Saturday afternoon though.
