The bit I remember him describing (& playing clips) was when KP got the ball. He didn't need to look up as his 2 FBs took up position about 5yds from the halfway line, & the 2 wingers hugged the line as far forward as they could, without being offside. Have to say, he demonstrated that he was correct with the clips. Can't remember precisely, but I think he said there were other 'set plays', but didn't illustrate them. Whatever it is we're doing, quite a few savvy managers seem to have worked us out.
The only way to counter is to gamble and put on the press, if that fails we waltz through and create a chance. But with top quality players and remember WHU have spent serious cash building that team. Halle was £45m alone. Top quality players at Chelsea press and we can lose the ball, make a bad pass through being rushed and hey presto the ball comes straight back at us. With this squad we can only hope we survive to improve the squad again next Summer. Kante V Phillips Kalvin loses, Rice V Phillips Kalvin loses again

London going into tier 3 lockdown and hence fans now not being allowed into grounds is ridiculous. Either fans are allowed into all matches to the same limits or they shouldn't be allowed at all. Once upon a time it was seen as a punishment for fans to be excluded from matches as they were seen to be a small but significant advantage to the home team. Now we have situations where teams playing, for example, Chelsea, will be playing them when there are no fans in the stadium while we had to play them when there was a small but very partisan crowd. This isn't a level playing field.
At first I didn’t actually think it would make a difference having the 2k in however after the Chelsea game they definitely helped. They were very loud and probably quite off putting for the players who wouldn’t have played in front of fans for a long time. Be nice to see fans back at Elland Road and create a good atmosphere as I think we’re missing that at home looking at our form.
