The lad txt me this last night whilst i was at work. I just replied "typical". Good luck to the lad, he deserves it. I'm not at all bitter towards him but i am to the shìt way we handle players and staff. Methadone said the pìsstake party stops now, Fookinell, the irony from the pìss pot owners without a pot to pìss in. Pìss off. Mind it's not just since this regime. And worse before they came with Chodwell, shìt contracts, fooking moyesula. Jeezus H christ, why the fook is this club such a clusterfùck. ? Fook sake am not gonna sleep off nights now, am wound up to fook. I better not read this forum of a mornin
It seems that Mr Warnock can still spot a good player when one gets in his sights. And if that player costs nothing, he must have thought that his ship had come in. Well played Duncan. I couldn't be happier for you. I'm only sad that you are not scoring for us.
He is one of my favourite people in Sport Ian! Involved at a very high level through his time in football and cricket at the governing bodies for both in this country - and such a lovely fella. His replies when peosome of our "fans" slagged Duncan off on Twitter were also tremendous. "Thanks for your support"
Unsurprisingly Dunc MoM for Northern Echo scored a 8, same as some other players.... Can we get him back in Jan, if he scores a few more other clubs may be in for him also....
Well done Duncan. I'm pleased for the lad. He's a good guy and he must be buzzing this morning. 2nd goal was from an assist from Paddy McNair !
I had high hopes for him when he joined fro Altrincham but it never really happened and his injuries seemed to have snuffed out his confidence. He seems to be a good lad compared to some of the typical players / pillocks. I thought he would just quietly disappear when we released him, with a football career unfulfilled, so good luck to him now. He needs to stay clear of injuries though so I hope this is not just a flash in the pan for him.
Both goals were different, neither as you describe, but I do agree he is just the sort of player we are lacking up front atm., ie a one who can run past players and not into them or hide behind them, find the net and provide assitsts he did all of this and more last night, lets hope he keeps it going, he has a chance with a decent manager a luxury he did not have here.
Tbf his last injury was a horrific challenge by a thug, who should have been sent down! Someone clever might be able to throw up the video of it. But you are right, after bad injuries it is very difficult to get rehabbed as good as new..and a weakness may always be there, loss of speed etc At my venerable age I am one month into a several month rehab programme to sort feet out...hopefully...
Agree. We get rid of a lad who is a good professional and we sign Danny Graham who looking at his size and his bragging about the drinking culture at the club is the exact opposite. Duncan score more in one game than Graham and O'Brien have scored all season. Or recruitment policy at its finest.
Yes the decision to let him go was always likely to be wrong if he keeps fit. You do wonder what the medical/physio assessments were at the AOL were at the time.. he could have been offered an initial fit/ to play offer?
Yes it’s hard to believe Warnock is such a useless bastard or so I am always told by Sunderland fans.
I've always thought Warnock was an effective competent manager. I also think he's a completely obnoxious twat, and that's why personally I'd not want him at Sunderland.
