'tis what happens with Captain Black at the helm...he may have to ask the Mysterons to help him out...
Here’s hoping for a quick resolution this week so that this threat of the disastrous EFL loan isn’t hanging over us.
I thought the bailout was for everyone, no strings, but if you applied for a monitor loan, that's when they've got you by the short and curly's. https://www-skysports-com.cdn.amppr...-agree-50m-deal-with-league-one-and-two-clubs
This could be one of the most defining weeks in our history Wouldn’t it be something if we hammer the dons by about fower nowt with the rich boys watching and we wake up Wednesday morning to the massive takeover announcement and all it’s plans. who would need Xmas after that
I haven't spoke to bob for a while but as I've said on previous occasions what he's saying will he coming from methven or Rodwell and sounds accurate, it's the same as what Nixon has said, KLD wants more percentage and I'd expect him to get it imo.
If that's right, and they still haven't decided who's buying what, there's no way we're going to get an announcement any time soon.
That is possible but it is also possible that the deal is close to completion and KLD is just wanting to Hoover up the remaining shares from SD or it could be that FPP have negotiatd a deal to convert loan to shares and are taking SD and CM shares or it could be none of the above but I still remain hopeful that we hear something before the January window
Here's hoping he'll get more, things would be less complicated making the big decisions going forward.
And as far as I'm aware, we haven't applied for a monitor loan. So people can stop worrying about transfer embargos etc.
Sorry mate, but I just don't see how a deal can be close to completion if something as fundamental as how many shares are going to change hands is still not determined, or if the treatment of the FPP loan hasn't been agreed?
Until the takeover is done, I don't think we can completely rule out Donald and Methven applying for one - considering the only time they open their gobs in the last 6 months has been to ask for money. I think its unlikely - I just want the threat removed.
The first part I understand but actually think is relatively trivial. If they've agreed a valuation of the club which therefore puts a value on 1% of the club - paying extra for more % and selling more % isn't too difficult. The second part for me is the major problem and it's where I hope a solution has indeed already been agreed. If it hasn't, you're right. Its fundamental to the entire thing.
I'd love to post some decent info but all I've had is too vague to help. It just sounds like anyone could make it up. The problem seems to be that it's not just a willing seller and a sole buyer. Everyone concerned knows SAFC has great potential and could reach and stay in the PL. So greed kicks in and all of the factions are fighting over 'their share'. I still don't believe Donald has much left to bargain with and he won't want to be expected to invest.
Agree. Not only does Donald have maybe just 1 or 2 chips left, but those chips are on a burning platform and diminishing by the day. He needs to cash them in now or he loses them entirely.
There would be no point in applying for that part of the deal. I would imagine the whole point of sacking Parkinson and installing Speakman and Johnson if it wasn't to have a look at the squad in preparation for the transfer window opening in January.
Unless they are doing it this way to speed up the process. It won't be signed off unless all parties agree to it.
We'll have to agree to disagree. We've been led to believe all along that SD was going to retain some equity in order to realise a pay day in years to come as and when we get successful. If that's right, those shares have a value to him, which may not be the same value as has been placed on that shareholding he has already agreed to part with.
