Some interesting comparisons with last season’s league table after 12 games.

Firstly, last year Norwich were rock bottom after 12 with 7 points. Makes Sheff U with 1 point look like they’re absolutely nailed on to go.

Also in the top half, at the minute, only 4 points separates top from 8th, this will probably be 7 by the end of the day, but still, last season that gap was 18 points!

Lastly, the gap from 4th to 10th was 10 points this time last year, it’s now 4.

Good chance that the last 3-5 games have more significance at the top than usual.

Most invested I've been in a season for a while, tbh, I've loved it despite my utter rages. I mean, when I'm posting on here wishing death on poor Steve Bruce, you know it's getting to me on a deep level, so it's been fun.

If the teams in the middle of the table and lower half keep spending money, like almost all of them did this season, we could continue to see a dramatically more competitive league. It's when about 80% of the league, Newcastle, Palace, Saints, Brighton and even Everton, are dipping into the bargain bucket for some cheap players the league just stagnates and get's boring as ****.

Have sky switched the channels for real/fake crowd noise?

Edit- they've said they have but pretty sure they're mistaken.

Spurs look good, though I wouldn’t discount Palace..... In fact if DL was to invest in Saha come the January window added to Kane and Song staying fit then the Spuds would be nailed on for the title ?

Yes mate. Main event is now the non enhanced sound & PL enhanced, it was vice versa before the fans came back.

Last week PL was the natural sound but they've seemingly switched to main event this.

They should just bin off the enhanced for games with fans tbh.
