Night 3 of the PDC World grand prix from Dublin. Proper darts with a double off and it ****s up a lot of the 'stars' Big Brendan Dolan is on last tonight against Canadian John Part .. C'mon Brendy
I don't follow it so looked it up on wikipedia and noticed that it has been won by an Englishman every year since it began. Enjoy.
We are superior at hitting targets, most of us descend from skilled longbowmen and that's scientific FACT.
I used to watch the darts when the one on the BBC meant something. My favourites were Bobby George, Les Wallace, Co Stompe, that Welsh bloke who's eyes were too close together, Ted "The Count" Hankey, Steve "The Adonis" Beaton. Should get into it again.
Most of them have. The BBC competition which is a "world championship" is by far the inferior title. Would like to see the organisations merged so that we could watch a real "world title" without having to subscribe to Sky. 20 years ago the BBC comp was the main event, when I grew up players like Eric Bristow, Jocky Wilson, John Lowe were household names. Cliff Lazarenko was my favourite, exotic name perfectly suited to darts.
