There are restrictions flying in and out of Abu Dhabi, but not Dubai. But like its been said he is probably just on a holiday, and if he needed to go to Saudi, he'd fly to Saudi!
@HughFallace There are restrictions on race day due to airspace capacity of flights, choppers etc but hardly anyone is going to the race due to Covid. As someone who travels to the MENA region I’m not aware of any standard restrictions into Abu Dhabi. Can you pop a link up as I’m curious where the info you have is from?
Been told it was only a stop over Got to give the pilot a bit of a.break at some point Ashley on the way to the Maldives for Christmas
Indian ocean is temperamental this time of year. He wants to stay out of the sea. The risk of tsunami is already high enough without him making it worse.
I thought so The plane spotting is the least indicative of all the takeover clues. There's a reason why he's got a private jet and its because he's all over the world for numerous reasons including his own personal time.
I I live in Dubai, here it's now fully open to travel to any from the UK (covid test for free on arrival and no quarantine back into the UK), but Abu Dhabi is very different. You need a negative covid test, and despite that you'd may be subject to a 2 week quarantine (in AD that is). Going by road from Dubai to AD is more simple apparently, although I haven't tried it. Clear as mud I know!
He normally spends Christmas in the USA, but since he now lives there, he obviously fancied somewhere different.
