Burnley's take-over going through next week for £200m. Seems steep if that's we're worth too (their stadium and facilities are poor) No real potential there beyond what they've managed to achieve, as the town is has only 70k denizens.
Honestly, you could field a fully-competitive and financially viable PL club on the Isles of Scilly at this point. Population isn't all that meaningful; attendance isn't a massive factor in general, but Burnley draws well enough in any instance. Biggest problem is what happens if you get relegated, as attendance matters far more in the FL.
Need to think long term. We've got far more chance of finishing above Everton therefore Everton must not win.
Think we should be aiming for somewhere around 7-10th for a good season, so think we should be wanting the likes of West Ham, Everton and Leicester to be dropping points as often as possible
Agree with Tom, if we continue as we have so far our main rivals this season are Wolves, West Ham, Everton.... and maybe Man Utd and Arsenal
