Maradona was a cheating **** who should only be remembered for that incident against England according to some bit Micheal Owen wasn't a cheat against Argentina. Oh, no. He was a clever player according to all the pundits.

    You've kind of got a point .
Just watch Harry Kane constantly backing into defenders .
Even when they are jumping to head the ball. He is actually put the defender in danger of a serious injury yet he gets a free kick nearly all the time .
    Blatant gamesmanship .

Rubbish poor ect well that was bad, we can all mention tactics ect but more importantly to me is the fact that we relie on our key performers playing well every game which is not going to happen. Unfortunately for me Smallwood and Honeyman who runs more in one game than some do in two were both poor together. They have been the rock of our side but today both were giving the ball away to easy which is not like them. Another key man in Wilks wasn't good. It's a long season and you look at the squad and think if one of our key players does get injured, performance s drop or you rest one then have we got the players in the squad who can perform at the level these two consistently have because if not then it's an area we need to look at in January with a bit more experience to come in. Also another highlight from today's game is that lack of an alternative forward who has good movement, again do we have that type of player in the squad, we have tried Wilks with mixed results, KLP ? I don't know but I certainly think it's two areas we have to look at. Hard run of games now I just hope today is a one off because we have learnt how to win in tight games but for that to happen we need a lot more than that.

    Utter rubbish
Harry is brilliant he is quicker of thought and gets in the place where the defender can’t get the ball without fouling him. It’s the defenders fault for going over the top.
If eaves had any strength in that 6”5 inch frame he’d use it but he doesn’t
    As above
Another genius who used his body superbly to shield the ball
No pace but ten yards ahead of everyone else on the pitch

If anything he fouls his man too often in the 50:50s.

We seem to look better when Eaves comes on, but then he starts and the same could be said of Magennis. I don't know what the answer could be other than to ship them both out and get two proper forwards in. Our tactic of launching the ball into the box at every opportunity isn't working anymore.

I think the biggest problem we face over the next few games is lack of depth in midfield. The first choice midfield 3 have by and large done really well this season but if you look at the gap between them and the possible replacements it feels large to me - Smallwood by far the best protector of our back four, Docherty the best box to box midfield player and Honeyman the best no 10. Midfield is the obvious area where might need to reshuffle with games coming thick and fast, but not convinced we have adequate alternatives here.

    on plans response
We were not good today,” he told BBC Humberside. “We struggled the whole game, though saying that, we probably had the three best chances in the game aside of their goal. Did anyone see these 3 chances as stats show no shots on goal. You struggled the whole game as your tactics were not working and you lack the capacity to think of a plan B

    ‘We were lacklustre’ Grant McCann.
Top of the league and still saying the same as last season.
Still believe he’s not the man to be in charge. Should be able to beat the likes of Shrewsbury without too much difficulty if we are to get back into the league above.

Seconded but also take the chief scout. We all accept Terry is not a championship manager nor does he seem to be able to get the best out of this squad. His tactical weaknesses have been shown up time and time again.

At one point Adelakun was stood in the centre circle with the ball at his feet for at least 10 seconds, trying to decide which of the nearby City players to pass to, while all the Shrewsbury players got back into position. That was after 60 minutes, he should have been off at HT or earlier. Bringing Eaves on is not the answer, offsides, poor ball control, AGAIN, how did he ever score goals for Gillingham? Surely GM should be looking to see what he did there, so he could try & get the best out of him here. He doesn’t work in McCann’s system, there must be other options to put up front? Is there no kids who are strikers?

Yes, we had disagreements over that. My dad, who was good footballer when he was young, thought Dalglish was a good footballer but didn't like the way he backed in, he was of a generation which preferred straight on piling in.
