For all the downside of today’s match I had an inkling we’d come out on top , not the 5-2 score line , but just felt we looked a little bit more composed and threatening- in control I guess . Hope we can get back to a good run but do think it’s our back line , without Innis and Famewo, that look the weak link. Our forwards are capable but not reliable imo
After the horrible football of the last few weeks (months if we're really honest), today we had five goals, a decent team performance, and a number of players looking really good. What's not to like?
I really have no idea ? I think he’s of the mindset that he’s more capable and knowledgeable than any of us mere mortals because his dad was in “The Game” , if you challenge or disagree you’re ridiculed and insulted . His way of controlling the forum , it’s his ball and if he doesn’t like it he takes the ball with him - childlike
Excellent second half performance. The first half showed just how much we miss Famewo & Inniss in central defence. Pratley was at fault for their first goal, and the whole back 4 was nowhere for the second. The half time subs made all the difference. Williams returned to showing his 18-19 form, and Gunter & Maatsen were excellent down the flanks. Aneke was once again a huge upgrade on the static Bogle. It was great to see Sandgaard get such a rapturous reception from the 2,000 there. Fully deserved. He also told Scott Minto pre match that the club was only 5 days from going bust. Two strikers are badly needed in January.
The improvement in Valley Pass Live was quite remarkable, with improved camera work, analysis, interviews and highlights afterwards. It's now a good tenner's worth, which it wasn't before. Down to TS, and another sign of what a positive approach he has. He wants to be a success by doing everything the right way, not by cutting corners and relying on a computer geek for recruitment. Nothing's certain in football, but I can only see improvement coming, on and off the pitch.
Washington worked so hard and took his goal very well, what we need is a BWP type player who can put half chances away on a regular basis
It was professional, at last. Scott Minto is an excellent interviewer, and by no means asked Sandgaard patsy questions. He is also able to extemporise, for example by asking the Dane how he felt when the fans interrupted him with an ovation. I’m not a fan of Stubley & Smith, who are both Alan Partridge- type figures.
