After watching the Cambridge game, this one is a worry. Another comment about young Tucker being poor which he was, but everyone has listed what he did wrong, yet they all forget the one he saved off the line, and all the good tackles/blocks he did.
well the pre-match previews are now out. https://www.gillinghamfootballclub.com/news/2020/december/preview--doncaster-v-gills/ https://www.gillinghamfootballclub.com/news/2020/december/preview--doncaster-v-gills/ I don't think anyone sounds confident.

I didn't feel that good today, so didn't pay to watch the game, slept instead, sounds as though the team did to. It got me thinking looking at our league position, hence I reminded myself that preseason covid, we only had 6 or 7 players and I was accepting this would be a season of relegation before it even began. Point being, at least Evans has managed to conjour a midtable position thus far.
Probably worst first half performance this season. Doncaster had over 80% possession. We were very lucky to be only one down. Second half more even although still deserved to lose. Positive was Mellis back from injury earlier than expected. We are not good enough against teams higher up the table. Luckily we doing better against teams near bottom
grumpygit -- This was worse than dreadful ! I was very disappointed with the lack of commitment - especially towards the end of the first half.. Bonham, in particular, took ages in retrieving the ball to take goal kicks - not good enough. As for Medley - I've seen Coco the Clown play better - with those quadruple-size shoes !
bonham starts time wasting from the first minute he touches the ball, and for their 2nd goal he made a terrific save, but pushed it straight into the danger zone as usual. How is it he can never catch the ball or push it round the post like other keepers.
Although I never saw the game, I saw the shot that he palmed away, and I was thinking exactly the same, not just about out keeper either, why is it they don't catch the ball anymore, do the huge gloves they wear make it awkward for some reason?
