We just look basic. But we seem to be very organised. In most games. West Brom will go down. As will Sheff Utd and I think Burnley this season. 35 points will be enough this season.
TBF we did actually pass and retain the ball for periods during the game for the first time in ages. Just goes to show what can happen if you keep the players away from Bruce and his coaches.
Although it's not the best to watch I would think that most sides would not really fancy playing against us much. Awkward and enough speed and actually finishing ability in fwd areas to be dangerous. You sort of feel we cant outplay anyone but always in with a shout of pinching the points.
"I can't give enough credit to the players and the staff who have worked tirelessly behind the scenes over the last couple of weeks, and certainly the medical department whose decision to shut us down was spot on. "We had three players who played today who had the virus, but it is about the after-effects and the way they recover. "We've still got two or three who are poorly with it now, so I'm delighted for everyone concerned because it's been a really challenging 10 days or so. "We've just got to try and find that consistency because the Premier League is so demanding. "We've got a good couple of wins and a huge month coming up and we could do with a fully fit squad, so let's brush it down and try not to get carried away yet - but I couldn't be more pleased." Steve, we won, you don't need to make excuses
It's not the prettiest to watch by a long way, and we can all see the shortcomings, but the fact is that after 11 games we are two points behind Man City, level with Everton and Wolves, four points above Arsenal and eleven points clear of the relegation zone. We would all have taken that at the start of the season.
