Is there any world where the three relegated teams are not comprised of some combination of Sheffield Utd plus two of Burnley/West Brom/Fulham/Brighton? I even hesitate to include Brighton, who have been unlucky more than anything and manifestly better than the other four.
Two Berbatovs with a fistful of tranquilizers might give them a run (or plod) for their money, but beyond that it's hard to imagine many slower.
I can't see anything other than Sheff Utd, Fulham, West Brom I may change my mind after tomorrow though!
I definitely don't consider them to be in the same (lack of) class as the others, but I can envision a situation where their morale tanks or injuries pile up or something, and they end up being relegation-threatened all season. I really can't for any other side in the PL; who would you expect to be the sixth-worst team in the league? Maybe Leeds or Wolves, neither of whom should be mentioned in the same breath as Burnley let alone Sheffield United.
A draw suits us just fine, but this is a painfully dull game. Makes leaving Aguero out of the squad even odder.
Just looked this time last year (after 12 games) Bournemouth were on 16 points and 11th in the league. We had 8 and were second from bottom. Football is a funny old game.
