I'snt that because we already are doing focused mass testing (eg care homes, uni when it was needed and some large firms) ? or was that a temporary thing ?
The vaccine developed jointly by GSK and Sanofi Pasteur has given disappointing results and won't be used in its current form.
Been a nurse since she was three! Kinell that’s a tough upbringing Tho I was shovelling coal at two And I had covid back then
Think you’ve been told before (Sir) Der Alte when you post you need to back it up with at least three peer reviewed articles, a disclaimer you are receiving no financial gain from said research and a full up to date cv otherwise you’re wrong.
Covid 19? Back in my day you thought you were lucky I f you had a covid in double figures, we only had a single digit one.
Only from people who claim they are better informed as they get their information elsewhere, not the MSM. Then, every day post their surprise at something the rest of us knew, saying they didn't know that. Even when it concerns what was the largest industry in their own city.
i dont read the papers but its nice to be poo-poohed by someone who has read a newspaper article and looked at a photo. what i can comment on is what my wife tells me. the first week her covid ward was full of unfit males in their 50's to early 60's. mostly smokers and beer guts. not what you would have expected. think the age is a bit older now as shes moaning about alzheimers sufferers with covid on her ward. only 2 or 3 dying a day though , 4 was the most. big problem is nurses testing positive and having to go off sick. 7 on her ward so far in the last few weeks. but only one really ill. ward still very busy.
No-one about the people who have it, on about the people out and about spreading it. And the pictures showing those out mixing, acting like silly twats after leaving pubs, pictured at raves and street parties aren't the older ones. Originally it was said it was oldies to blame for spreading it, which is not the case.
im not quite understanding the first sentence, i was purely commenting on the patients in the beds on her ward. most were serious drinkers in their 50's/60's who enjoyed a last night on the lash. by being out they were putting themselves at risk. i suppose there is a difference between spreading it and being admitted to hospital with it. the main ones spreading it now ARE the young uns and the danger is theyre gonna infect granny and grandad this xmas.
I don't think there's much difference between where it's being spread and where you end up with it....Both Hospital?
