Exactly. Any professional footballer must have hated Parkinsons tactics. No need to move because you were never going to get a pass. Early days but really enjoyed that.
Best I have seen us play for ages.... I will enjoy for now but expect more than a new manager bounce 2 wingers helped...
Also have to ask was Parky managing for the players! Diamond. 5 subs. 4 goals. Team playing like Brazil in a training game. You've got to be wondering what Parky was up to and who the f*** would employ him now!
Brilliant, delighted with that. Long may it continue. Very different feeling to when PP went on his little run last year or JRs win one draw four. Amazing how refreshing it feels watching a team actually going out to win games and assert themselves.
Well that was very enjoyable, amazing what happens when you take a chance and have people in the box. Take a bow Lee Johnson, its only been a week but what difference from Parkyball.
cheers again RTB. talk about setting the bar high... first, was great to finally watch a league game where we did not have to suffer ****-housery for best part of it, plus we still tried to pass andplay rather than resorting to it ourselves...decent game management 2nd half imho. 3 goals, from open play, away from home, against a top two side, good energy throughout the team even in the dying minutes (two noted incidents, wyke 'bulldozing' through 3 of them deep into their half, grant shoving, pushing, dragging, tackling to stop them even thinking of a break away) and a completely different looking attitude across the pitch. 2 decent goals from wyke who also looked busier than he has done, well done lad, proving me wrong, diamond a great half and superbly taken goal, good call to give him the 2nd half off, burge, excellent hand for that 2nd break from them, saved a goal for sure and did exactly what he had to do when needed. overall, pleasantly surprised as was expecting to see that little bit of improvement to continue but they went way past that today...now they got to be consistant but that was the type of performance i think we all knew the side was capable of (apart from parky), nowt to whine about here.
Who the ****'s Lee Johnson ? Shocking, unambitious appointment. Evidence if anyone needs it that there is no takeover edit: Sorry wrong board
Pleasure to watch that, pressed high, played with a high tempo on the front foot and got men into the box. Not many square or backward balls and looked full of confidence.
