Says the administration article is a load of **** and they don't have the best relationship with the paper it was in. Takeover takes time but everyone is acting in a professional manner and things are progressing.
To be fair, safc is losing 1 million quid a month and he is covering it. Must be a nightmare having our overheads in league 1. Rodwell on radio there. Sounded ok, steady, like him.
Did he say whether it was with the EFL? If it was all agreed and with the EFL there’d be nothing to stop him saying so. Which suggests an element of negotiation is ongoing as per Nixon’s claim yesterday? Not meant to be a negative post before everyone jumps on it. I actually think a continued negotiation is a very positive thing as it’s likely to result in KLD taking a larger share. 40% and not having the majority makes no sense.
He just said that it was progressing steadily and everyone was behaving professional but these things take time. He also said that we are losing £1m per month and the owners were covering that and there is absolutely no chance of Sunderland going into administration.
Never the less, turning attention to the match, Daimond being awarded for his performance mid week is good to see, for what it’s worth, haway the lads!
Posting bullshit. I heard it on here (and another popular forum) that there is no takeover. In all seriousness, the doubters will still doubt even when Dreyfuss lands in a helicopter in the centre circle at the SOL, and emerges with a placard above his head saying "Takeover complete"
“Takeover is progressing and everyone is professional and these things take time” - devils advocate says that this could have been a quote from July - so let’s not get excited about that. However as far as I know this is the first time the club have confirmed the takeover talk is involving the EFL? That’s great news.
I might be wrong and he may have said that to Phil Smith but I listened to the interview on BBC Radio Newcastle and I didn't pick it up like that. I need to listen again
That place needs shut down as it has a massive percentage of embarrassing ****wits posting absolute ****e
Anyone who dares post anything even slightly positive is ganged up on and shouted down immediately yet any negativity is lapped up and passed on as fact. Its happening as we speak in regards to Phil Smiths latest tweet
He may have said it off air to Phil Smith that the takeover was with the EFL, but he definitely didn't say it in today's BBC Radio Newcastle interview. Here it is from 14:20-14:25 https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/live:bbc_radio_newcastle
