they have a few decent players. But I did say that they are stepping up to a league where all the teams are as fit, if not fitter and they may see less of the ball. In no danger of relegation, but are struggling to match the impact Sheff United made. 8-15th is Where they will finish.
they are in a one club city so have a bigger potential audience. But finance wise they have less wealthy owners than United. be interesting if they fall off the edge like United have if they stay up
This is accurate, seen a good few Leeds games this season in almost each one bamford has missed sitters, lad tries hard and runs about a lot but in the prem you can't afford to have a striker who hits 4 out of ten shots in the goal and expect to win games. Unless his names Bobby Firmino. Leeds with a proper goal scorer this season like say Danny ings would be much better off.
Bielsa has done a fine job at Leeds. It's not easy to get out of the Championship and even more so to get Leeds out of the Championship (as history attests). He hasn't had a lot to spend and has come up with a bunch of relative unknowns ... so fair play to him. They are easily good enough to stay up... but will need to find a more clinical strike force to push on next season. Josh King in January could be an option, but Bournemouth will be keen to hang on to him, given where they are. Demarai Gray from us might be another option. He has bags of ability but needs a new start and a run of games ... plus some individual mentoring. Bielsa could be just the man to help him fulfil his potential.
but a club like United with a smaller audience actually has a more wealthy owner. Not as good as the investment Moshiri and Usmanov have made in Everton.
They need someone who'll work hard and still score decent chances. The problem is that they can't afford that player, as everyone else would want to sign him. Unless Haaland's far more dedicated to Leeds than I'd expect, in which case they'll be sorted.
damn i missed yesterdays leeds beef. In other news for defending concerns @Welshie leeds have more clean sheets than sir bruce of newcastle think bielsas doing a fine job, considering leeds have a bunch of players who look and play like robbie savage he's doing alright. You only need to look at the other 2 promoted clubs. Good to see the Leeds boys not getting carried away anymore though
