De Marco is the next messiah isn't he

He's planning visits

He is a winner. Finally.

 

Is there anyone out there who doubts that:

- Nick is for 3 weeks representing NUFC/Ashley against the PL?
- Nick, who is regarded as the best sports lawyer in the country will win his case?
- The takeover will then happen with the Saudis (via PIF or another state appointed actor)

 

Yes I don't think anyone that hasn't followed it all thinks there's anything going on. They litterally just see a loaf of bread and start laughing.

 

He knows EXACTLY what he is doing with his tweets.

He is an intelligent guy and being a QC barrister, understands psychology, the use of analogy and the effect his tweets will have. The fact he has now said that he would love to visit Newcastle because of family ties suggests that he is in no way winding anyone up.

His tweets seem even more relevant now.

 

It all boils down to this. De Marco has a confident, arrogant at times manner. He is the best the UK has in terms of sports lawyer. He feeds off his reputation so for him to take this case on... and then send subtle hints to the fan base... he has to be 100% certain he will win. He can take his pick of work so wouldn’t risk his reputation on a long shot.

that’s how top lawyers who have made their money operate. It’s a win percentage thing if you like.

if you are a defence lawyer (let’s call him a big fish) and you see an Apex predator like De Marco (let’s call him the great white)... your prime goal isn’t to stand and fight a lost cause.. it’s to get away unhurt as quickly as you can.

De Marco will have already offered terms to the PL. and my hope is that they are just finalising those terms which will involve us having new Saudi owners. Perhaps the noise about PIF being replaced by a single Saudi funded individual is the final piece of the jigsaw for all to save face.

agreed. A puppet of PIF.. buys the club... a few years down the line it gradually transitions to PIF.

 

Sounds like that is a compromise that they have reached.
