If any of you read the Newcastle boards you would have seen that they were gutted when he left with only a few exceptions. This thread is pretty ridiculous. I stumbled across it as it was the 'last post' on the Premier League page when I logged-in yesterday, and we've had a page-and-a-half of SwordsHoopster embarrassing himself and now Dave Thomas trying to insult me by ridiculing a city I was not born in, do not live in, have never lived in and have no connection with other than supporting their football team.

You'll see from the thread Croydon that I wasn't complaining about the defeat at all - just Barton's lack of influence on the pitch and in the dressing room when he's supposed to be our captain and the biggest signing we've ever made. When you go to a new club you need to earn the respect of the players and the fans.....to me it appears he's yet to do either.
