There is not a cat in hells chance that Donald sanctioned the sacking of PP. It would show that he was wrong in the first place, sacking managers cost money as its not only the manager its his support staff and then you will have the costs of recruiting a new manager and back room staff. Then any new manager who is in demand is going to want to bring his own players in and that requires money and then the players who he does not fancy have to be got rid of and that costs money. The one thing SD has not got us the appetite to do currently is spend money. There is a change in ownership as we can from the new structures being put in place and these costs money. As for Lj's comments today - from all his conversations it is clear that he has had a number of soundings about future job offers as he admitted that he was doing his homework for another job when the call came. If other consortia were interested in his opinion then this to me is a positive in that LJ is highly thought of within football. i know at least one consortia who were keen in August and it was not the ZZ top headbanger.
If it is genuinely at EFL then I'm not concerned at all. Its just an annoying step that has to be done but takes time. If they are still messing about with terms then I am more concerned.
I don’t disagree with that but SD sacked Jack Ross. Saying SD wouldn’t sack a manager because he wouldn’t pay compo is just clearly wrong.
Because at present he has to approve stuff as he is majority shareholder. If Cyril was in interviews though then it must be in a good place as until shares change hands he has no real actual right or reason to be there. But if he was then it demonstrates trust on SD's side which must indicate its advanced.
Answering the question as to where I said “he was slowing things down”. You know that post where you said I had made that assumption. You are that hard of thinking, you chose the wrong alley cat name. You should have been Brain Mind I would like to think that when some people twist peoples words, they would have the balls to admit they were wrong. Not you though
SD is desperate to prove he is a winner at the cost of progress. If he sold us to Dreyfus he would be regarded as a success the numpty
The part that is filling me with dread is that LJ stated today that two consortiums are looking to buy SAFC. So that KLD/Sartori & that wombat Storey???? Surely he cannot be serious about this. He lobs a tweet out every now and then. I just want this to be over!!!!!!
Absolutely no way Donald has paid for Speakman and Johnson. They probably cost more than both managers employed by Donald during his time here. There is no way he's paid for both to be employed at the same time.
Could this be him dipping into FPP money??
That's like saying what you read on social media is true.....its unfiltered and without context....according to social media William storey is buying us..
“ignore” Classic RTG a right there. Like I say, hard of thinking So I will help. When you asked what SD has done wrong, I responded with you replied with. Even a thicko can see your post has nothing to do with what I said, yet you dig the hole deeper.
The people pissing themselves the most on RTG about it not happening will be the same people who when it does will be telling everyone who will listen how **** its going to be and nothing will change
I can tell you now, the weight has been lifted off alot of people's shoulders at the AOL. People are optimistic, a little buzz around the place. That's honestly the first time in 2 or 3 years.
It's no secret that several groups were reportedly looking at us. KLD and JS, Fizzy pop Bill and that American fella that came out the woodwork a day or two after the news broke about KLD and JS. I'll take what LJ has said with a punch of salt.
But we're in a totally different situation now. When Ross was sacked there was still strong optimism that promotion was within our grasp, that changed when Parkinson arrived. Since then the financials have changed completely with Covid, falling ticket sales and fans utter disrespect for Donald and his PR expert sidekick. It all says to me that he can't throw any more money away.
We still looking at the time frame you gave mate you reckon or is it just a matter of the EFL getting their arses into gear?
