Skids without Adamson can only be compensated with "dad" dancing by Jobson.

He's still pretty good at it and mercilessly takes the piss out of himself.

What to get your special loved one for Christmas....?

It can be a delicate subject....

A slow cooker will get you the cold shoulder until Spring turns up....

Whereas buying an £80,000 Magni MV Agusta can be seen as extravagant and inappropriate if your other half doesn't ride.

So, for those of you stuck in this annual cleft stick, your Uncle Brian has the remedy...but you'll need to get your skates on.

Yes, it's a 10" replica of the grave stone from the cover of History of the World single from 1980...and it..............................................................glows in the dark.

What other half could possibly be anything but overjoyed?.........It's a sure fire winner...but there are only 7 left as I type....get onto ebay, item no. 284103405197 I've already purchased one for Mrs B.

Just play the track and lie back and think about your loved ones gratitude in the forthcoming year....

    ...You're welcome!

Alfie, just in case you haven't seen this...
A really top bloke and a great, great talent...

..I never saw him phone in a performance and it's absolutely right that he's remembered in his home town.

In Norwood, there's a garden created and named in honour of Captain...whist he's still with us, which is nice. Unfortunately, some bastard stole the plaque off the bench recently! Here's the video featuring a few old friends..

I live in Hemel Hempstead, somehow I don't think that the council would be up for a bench in a graveyard for Dave Vanian

Not if it only came out after the sun's rays are no more...?

Croydon Council may be utterly **** at controlling finances but there is an understanding that Punk Rock and The Damned offer an identity to a place that could definitely do with one since the war...They put these upon the site of They Greyhound to celebrate the 40th anniversary of New Rose...

I own 3 of the 4 Croydon/Damned posters (they're on my stairway) together with this one...

Ahhh...East Croydon, Platform 6 - I know it all too well.

When you're looking to increase your collection of Croydon inspired artwork, you'd be hard pressed to beat The Town That Love Built...

There's a few reasons why we don't live there anymore. That's definitely one of them.

However, Mrs B is very soon to be back working in Croydon, policing child abuse, domestic violence, etc...and it was her No 1 choice of posting.

    She's a ****ing saint.

I had a bit of a sleepless one last night and my Youtube wanderings came up with this, which I haven't seen in years...

    Also, this...

    ...which took me here...

Actually it took me to Amazon Prime Video where the whole film is available for free...if you like that sort of thing - the interaction between Hilly's old mum and Joey Ramone makes the film worth viewing on its own!

In homage to Sky news, and when this immediately came to my mind
I also thought of our Brian needing some cheering up,
So give you some christmas karaoke (reworked lyrics took about 10 mins) .

    Singalong now ...

There's an unlimited false outrage supply.
That's why there is no reason why.
    I tell you it's all a game.
They only do it for news ratings and attempted fame.

    Who? S-K-Y. S-K-Y. S-K-Y.

Too many people have the suss.
    Too many people support us.
    An unlimited amount.
Far too many for them to discount.

    Who? S-K-Y. S-K-Y. S-K-Y.

    Covid violators are crucified.
A day they wish you would all just go and die.
    We are a commoners' sedition.
We are ruled by you, never, ever, never !!!

And you never think that they're really faking.
That it's all about money making.
If you believe they're not for real,
then they lose their cheap appeal.

Why don't you judge a book just by the cover ??
Perhaps then you can attack another.
    Blind acceptance in a sign,
of stupid fools who stand in line, like

    viewers of

    S-K-Y. S-K-Y. S-K-Y.

    Unlimited hypocrisy,
with an unlimited false outrage supply.
    That was the only reason,
they will now have to say goodbye.

    Unlimited false outrage supply,
and there is no reason why.
I tell you all it's just a game.
They only do it for news ratings and attempted fame.

Now their bosses don't need the pressure,
and we can't stand those useless fools.
    Unlimited false outrage supply,
    Hello S-K-Y, goodbye

    Kate Burley, Beth Rigby ...

And of course credit to :

For anyone that ever wondered what David Hasselhoff fronting a metal band would sound like. Yep, it's cheesy as ****! <laugh>
