The EU will get its fish from the UK. It's as obvious as that. There's no reason they wont. The EU want our fish and WTO rules mean they can't do anything about it. They can put punitive tariffs on fish but that would mean they have to charge these tariffs on the UK imports and the rest of the world. You can't have different tariffs for different countries.

The whole point of these electronic systems is that if you are a normal person you get them straight away. If you are an illegal immigrant who has destroyed any documentation and is lying about which country they have come from they wont be able to get a paper visa or complete one of the online equivalents.

 

I had an application from a new client today. He will be employed by a Spanish company but work in the UK, Spain and Greece. After six months he will set up a UK company and be employed by them to work in the same three countries. Him and his employer dont seem to be too worried about what happens next year. It's only a certain type of person who is having a meltdown.

 

It may surprise you to learn that I don't think he would have been. Corbyn was a genuine leaver, not just someone who thought it would be a good career mve.

Yet the Labour manifesto wanted to ignore the 2016 referendum by agreeing a deal with the EU that nobody in a Labour government would back with an option to remain as well. That doesn't seem very democratic to me.

 

It's called pragmatism. What Brexit isn't. Flocks of chickens now coming home to roost. The original referendum was flawed. Everyone knew what remain meant. Leave meant whatever you wanted to mean. I wonder how many of those 51.8% voted to leave without a deal.
