Well with all this agreement that the BiB and Bob thing is not worth fighting about we need something to cause bother. CoxhoeWonderful old Village with old front street. Butchers run by a Sunderland fan, Green Grocers, Post Office, Pet Shop, Barbers, Carpet Shop, DIY Store, Bakers, Chemist and mobility shop. Nice people and the club. Chester Le Street Big and on a hill. I am a proud CiB
Coxhoe has Kelloe next to it so that's - 100 points. Syd do you happen to know why they call West Cornforth Doggy? Thought you'd be the man to ask.
How dare you besmirch the name of the wonderful Ryhope by the Sea...I'll have you know it is probably the only village in the world that has a pigeon cree registered as a listed building...
Chester, has an excellent range of charity shops, bookies and takeaways....that's about it. We do have like 15 pubs and clubs on our front street so we win.
"We're Ryhope, we're mental we come from Cherry Knowles"..We used to sing this in an area at the back of the Fullwell End in the 1970's were a load of lads and lasses from the village all used to gather...Happy days..
Compared to Peterlee, they're both ****holes Perhaps I should have put 'Compared with Peterlee they're all ****holes'
It sure did, part now Franks Carpets and barbers Mant stories but main one is that dog iron was produced there. All have drink problem
It's commonly known that all the best folk in Tyne & Wear come from SR6, Seaburn & Fulwell. This was written on a rock jesus left, so don't even argue like.
You're all wrong. Shields is the top spot in the NE. The Ocean Road for curries, Lawe Top watching the ferries come in, miles of sandy beaches, top place for a punch-up, er hang on, that can't be right...
Can't argue with Shields for curries mind, but curry alone does not a wonderful place make. There's a windmill in SR6, a sure sign of wonder and class...
