I think that would be quite good. Not for Kvyat but for Perez and Albon. Perez would bring some decent money which probably pays more than his salary but would his sponsors fit in with Red Bull?
Haas taking a massive gamble, Schumacher and Mazepin both on multi-year contracts. What happens if they're both ****?
I think Mazepin Senior will probably buy the team. Gene Haas wants out, especially if performances are poor, and if it's a case of "buy the team or end your son's career", I think Mazepin buys the team. I'm expecting Schumacher to be poor next season then improve. Realistically, if he's crap for 2 seasons then Ferrari have a heap of young talent who they'll put in.
Maybe nothing. May be coincidence but Bottas and Russell have removed Mercedes and Williams from there profile descriptions on Instagram. People are thinking there could be a swap sooner rather than later in 2021. Sensible decision if they do
Interesting. Just had a quick random check on other drivers and most don't mention their teams. If Bottas and Russell used to does look a bit suspicious. I can understand Russell as it might be confusing to have Williams listed when he drove for Merc but Bottas????????? Lewis reporting he is back training. Although I have read conflicting reports about being allowed in to Abu Dhabi. Things like all personnel had to fly in on Monday and be tested at airport then isolate in one of the 6 hotels (7th hotel just for the 6 other hotels staff who have to isolate for last 14 days!) Some saying that the borders to Abu Dhabi are now closed unless special permission. So all a bit confusing really. Can't be easy for Russell or Jack Aitken not knowing if or in which car they are going to drive.
It's back on the Twitter profile of Bottas. While not sensible from the point of view of running a number 1/2, I do hope they make the swap. Could be a tasty season if they do.
Mazepin looks like he is already making a tit of himself....or squeezing one.. not sure what he was thinking to share that on social media..
I am trying not to laugh at that, but the deadpan delivery just got to me. I am very pleased he is alright though.
I think Hass will be taking over his social media accounts very soon. It's bad enough doing what he did but to then publish it I realise that Russians might have different idea on what is socially acceptable but surely he has a bit of a clue after his time in F2? Not a good start to his F1 career.
Wonder if Haas will back out. Probably not if they're getting a ton of cash, but Mazepin seems like a bit of a git.
Everyone seems bent out of shape about it other than the girl whose tit he squeezed, and it was her who put the photo up on his wall 'for a laugh.'
His 09 wasn't great, but I think he'd admit it came too soon for him, and then he went away and dominated the junior formulae. His 2012 was infamous, but in 2013 he showed why he belonged on the grid. Genuinely quick in the Renault, at least equal to Kimi. He just never reached those heights again, and as he and Haas slipped down the grid, he found it harder to have a car to his style, which didn't combine well with him always having a mistake in him. How his F1 career lasted most of a decade is a reasonable question, but I think it's unfair to suggest he didn't deserve an F1 drive at all.
oh come on, he was never equal to Kimi. Kimi won a race, had 6 2nds and a 3rd, finishing 50 points ahead despite not bothering with the last 2 races. Personally, I think that car was capable of winning the title with better drivers, or at least getting second in the WCC with a decent gap to 3rd, instead it was 4th.
