Up to now I've got bottles of. Irish cream liqueur. Chocolate Irish cream liqueur. Brandy. Port. 74 bottles of home brew raspberry and lime cider. 40 pints of home brew lager. 40 pints of home brew bitter. 17 bottles of home brew wine. 9 ciders and another 12 wines to bottle . Probably get a bottle of bourbon and a bottle of woods 100 rum. Are you building a small booze stash too ?
Been buying "Xmas Wine" since March. Strangely, I seem to have accidentally drunk most of it! Bought a new Fridge Freezer in the summer so moved the old one into the garage and filled it up with wine and beer As it stands (and this may change) we have: 40 Bottles Malborough Sav Blanc 36 Bottles Pinot Grigio 36 Bottles Yellow Tail Shiraz 24 Bottles Bop House 13 24 Bottles Estrella 6 Bottles Champagne 18 Bottles Prosecco Bit worried we might run out so might have to do a reserve shop
I never ever get to that many wines. The more i have the more i drink, Now I'm home brewing again I'm worried but been pretty good up to now
Nah! I just go out and buy it all next week I’ve made loads of home brews and home made wine and champagne and all turn out how do you call it s hite
To be fair, we will have the full 3 family bubble experience and that wine should last us well into the new year
Never stock up Always have most things Plenty beer lager and wines and spirits All year round there is only me and the wife to drink it most of the time We are really not big drinkers However we do have out moment Couple of craft beers tonight I think Ohhh and some how over the past 10-15 years or so I’ve always had a bottle of champagne to myself on a Christmas Day don’t know why
Mines all pretty quafable to be fair. The longer you leave it the better. I bet your scooping it out of the fermenting bucket
Here’s a funny story mate me and my two mates started a wine club taking it in turns a kit made 10 bottles so Reg made the first batch. Phil the second me the third. When they were ready Reg had 4 Phil 3 and me 3 and then the same with Phil him 4 Reg 3 and me 3 and then when it was my turn I drank them all and got told to f uck off
Years ago when i got onto red wine, i thought a litre was a more reasonable amount as i always opened another bottle for one more glass. I started buying 4 bottle boxes then. One night i could hardly get up the stairs to go to bed and thought "fook i must of drank 2 bottles ffs" The next night i thought "at least ive got 2 bottles worth left". Think i got a glass out of it Stopped buying boxes after that
We do the pre Christmas nectar points thing at Sainsbury's, got £70 free wines a few weeks back, opened the first Marlborough Shiraz red at the weekend and I'm now worried it won't cover both Christmas and the New Year...
Used to drink. Then realised I didnt like it. Didnt help my anxiety and depression one bit. Hangovers just got worse, couldnt cope with them. Probably been drunk once within the last ten years. Got home, the cool feeling of my bathroom floor was just too inviting, passed out with my head in the bathroom, my body on the landing and my legs dangling over the top of the stairs. Never again.
I was propper rough as fook at work Monday night shift. Had the rampant shìts when i got home. Said to the mrs, "i must of eaten summat dodgy". She said it's probably all the booze weekend. I said "you always blame me boozin" and she replied, "And you blame everything but" I've just remembered heating up a keema naan late Sunday night left over from Friday
Yeah had me moments on red wine Now I’m more reserved we share a bottle occasionally I’m right into Rioja at the moment
Chez Flanders will be well stocked with Gin this Xmas.....Maybe a few bottles of dry white wine as well, but definitely plenty of Gin
Double like I had the same when I was really ill our lass said what happened to that bacon I left out to throw in the bin it was green I had made four butties when I got in and covered them in brown sauce cos they tasted s hit
I woke up on the kitchen floor one morning years ago, half naked in a pile of puke. I'm usually pretty good at knowing my limits though. Mrs rarely drinks now, seen her in some states when we were younger after just a few. She thinks everyone from the North east are pìss heads My lad can't handle booze and fair do's doesn't drink either. Youngest daughter unfortunately drinks like a navvy.
