Well, Gibson is getting a break. Unbelievable amount of injuries still. One player back, two more ruled out.
No Gibson or Placenta for 2 weeks https://www.canaries.co.uk/News/2020/december/team-news-norwich-city-nottingham-forest/
Swansea v Bournemouth will be a big game tonight which ever team wins will leapfrog us and if it ends in a draw Bournemouth will go above on goal difference. Bristol City 4 points behind in 8th . If we can muddle through with what we have left until injured players start coming back that will be good.
The problem is that at the current rate every time we get a recovery, at least one more is injured again so who knows when this injury-free period might arrive
I know I was trying to be positive but it's getting crazy now . The only plus sides are the academy boys are getting blooded early and nobody us sitting on the bench sulking about not playing
with the rapid frequency of games, especially at the end of this month there is very little “healing time” and thus I fear we will have this perpetual cycle of injuries although hopefully not as bad as it is now.
That's exactly it is isn't it - all these injuries mean other players are having to play without resting, increasing their chances of injuries... I think Webber and Farke might need to bite the bullet and call back Drmic tbh.
He was moaning about not training with the squad whilst being our highest paid player so he should be thrilled with a recall. He may start scoring and we could at least get a transfer fee
Someone on here had the news about Placheta a few days ago. Wish I could remember who but I can't find that post now.
Yes, they're very similar. This would be an important season for Onel's continuing development especially if we're able to get back to the PL. He's 25 or 26 now, so not a kid anymore.
Team; McGovern, Aarons, Zimmermann, Hanley, Sorensen, Skipp, Vrancic, Buendia, Stieperman, Martin and Pukki. Bench: Cantwell, Tettey + ? Why so many injuries?
Swansea 0-0 Bournemouth is final. Stoke lost 1-2 at home to Cardiff. Watford was the only winner, 2-0 at home to Rotherham.
First Game of the New PL, first time I sat in the Barclay (apart from falling on my arse a few times when we scored). Norwich 3-Forest 1. Good result then and one I'll take tonight
